RESULTSITHACA, N.Y.—The Binghamton men's and women's swimming teams each lost at Cornell today. The men were defeated 165.5-117.5, while the women lost 173-114.

MENThe men had a strong finish in a number of events to add to their overall score. They had the top-three scorers in the 500 free:
Andrew Duszynski (4:55.42),
Andrew Hawkins (5:04.31), and
Isaac Vingan (5:16.45). The men then swept the 100 butterfly thanks to
William Harrison (52.84), Steve Campagna (53.86), and
Amit Bachar (55.23). Duszynski (55.14) then led the Bearcats to points in the 100 IM, followed by
Max Willard (58.57), and
Isaac Vingan (1:00.40). Finally, the relay of
Brian McKenna,
Amit Bachar,
Darin Gillenwater, and
Eric Farm won the remaining 11 points in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:27.80. In one-meter diving,
Cole Reagan narrowly missed taking first place, and settled for second with a score of 257.10.

WOMENLikewise, the women also scored the majority of their points near the back-end of the meet. First
Cindy Shi (5:24.03),
Meghan Feminella (5:25.87), and
Kristen Pozmanter (5:26.56) captured all 16 points in the 500 free. Then
Selina Ng (57.53),
Brooke Pettis (1:00.23), and
Haley Rice (1:03.35) captured the honors for the 100 butterfly.
Maria Trivino (1:02.07),
Stephanie Malyszka (1:03.39), and
Katie Chung (1:04.38) did the same with the 100 yard IM. In their last race of the day,
Taryn McLaughlin,
Meghan Feminella,
Abby Humphreys, and
Courtney Foley teamed up to take the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:44.54.
