STONY BROOK, N.Y.—The Binghamton women's lacrosse team (5-5, 1-1 America East) will have a true test tonight when they battle the no. 9/8 Stony Brook Seawolves (9-0, 1-0 America East). Game time for this America East shootout is 7 p.m. at Stony Brook's Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

QUICK HITS
Renee Kiviat totaled six goals in the Bearcats' last game, a career high. The six goals is also the highest of any Bearcat since Katherine Hunsberger had six against Boston University on April 28, 2012. Kiviat's 18 goals for 2015 leads the team.

Sophia Racciatti had four assists in Binghamton's last game, the most of any Bearcat this season. Racciatti currently leads Binghamton with 25 points (17 goals, 8 assists).

The Bearcats have five players with double digit goals this season. Along with Kiviat and Racciatti, there's Brianne Arthur (11), Callon Williams (11), and Tiffany Ryan (11).

Four of the next five games for Binghamton are on the road, where the team is 3-3 so far this season. That includes a seven day stretch where the Bearcats travel to St. Bonaventure, University of New Hampshire, and Colgate.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bearcats led 8-4 at the half against UMass Lowell, and then kept the Riverhawks off the board until 10:36 left in the second half. Renee Kiviat had six goals, while Alex Fisher, Sophia Racciatti, and Brianne Arthur each had two in the 15-6 victory. The win pushed Binghamton back up to .500 in both the America East and overall.

SCOUTING STONY BROOK
The Seawolves are a perfect 9-0 on the season, one of two teams still undefeated (the other being no. 1 Maryland). The team has defeated two ranked opponents so far in no. 17/18 Notre Dame and no. 6/7 Florida, and they'll have a chance to push that number even higher in the upcoming weeks. After playing BU Stony Brook welcomes no. 19/18 Albany, travels to no. 20/20 Johns Hopkins and (unranked, but 8-3) Vermont, before finishing up their four game stretch at home against no. 6/6 Northwestern.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Bearcats are 1-11 all-time against the Seawolves, with their last win coming in 2010. Last season Sophia Racciatti and Brianne Arthur combined for the entire Binghamton offense in a 16-3 Bearcats loss at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
