Men's Soccer Heads to Hofstra for Final Non-Conference Game

Bearcats and Pride to kick off on Tuesday at 7 p.m.








STORY LINES

Binghamton (6-4-5) is coming off a 2-0 setback against Vermont on Saturday night. Junior midfielder Ben Ovetsky and sophomore forward Nikkos Psarras each have a team-best four goals and nine total points so far this season.

The Bearcats enter the game with a RPI of No. 77 out of 206 Division I programs.

Hofstra (8-6-1) is coming off a close 2-1 loss at No. 1 Maryland last Friday night. The Pride has already clinched the No. 1 spot in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tournament, which starts next week. Luke Brown leads Hofstra with six goals and 14 total points.

The Pride enters the game with a RPI of No.25 out of 206 Division I programs.

Hofstra leads the all-time series between the two teams 2-0-0. Most recently, it took a 1-0 home decision on Sept. 30, 2013.
