Swimming & Diving Falls To Canisius

Bearcats set sights ahead to Bucknell Invitational

BUFFALO, N.Y.—The Binghamton swimming & diving teams were defeated by Canisius today. The men lost 155-145 while the women fell by a score of 161-139.

MEN
Three Binghamton swimmers won multiple events. Ross Bernstein took the 1000 (10:06.36) and 200 IM (1:58.26). Cooper Langanis won the 200 free (1:45.01) and 500 (4:51.12). Alex Brion finished first in the 50 free (21.59) and 100 free (47.98). Thomas Mackey also won the 200 breast.

WOMEN
Brooke Pettis was the women's sole multi-event winner, as she captured the 200 fly (2:12.01) and 100 fly (58.62). Kristen Pozmanter won the 1000 for BU at 10.53.78. Courtney Foley won the 100 (53.36), and Katie Chung placed first in the 200 IM (2:13.71).

This wraps up the Bearcats' dual meets on their fall schedule. They will close out the semester December 2-4 at the Bucknell Invitational.
