LEXINGTON, Va. - Binghamton and VMI will condense a three-game weekend set to Saturday and Sunday after snow derailed the scheduled opener on Friday. The Bearcats (1-6) and Keydets (5-5) will play a doubleheader beginning at noon on Saturday and then complete the series with a single game on Sunday.

The Bearcats will look to rebound after dropping three games at UNC Greensboro last weekend. On the opening weekend of the spring, BU took one of four games at Houston Baptist.

Senior third baseman David Schanz leads the team with a .379 average. He has a team-high seven runs scored and six RBI. Sophomore outfielders Pat Britt and CJ Krowiak are hitting .353 and .333 respectively. Senior second baseman Reed Gamache and junior first baseman Brendan Skidmore are tied for the team lead with seven RBI.

Senior Mike Bunal (0-1, 11.00 ERA) will pitch Game 1, senior Rob Hardy (0-1, 7.20 ERA) will start Game 2 and junior Jake Cryts (0-1, 12.27 ERA) will go in Game 3.
