STORY LINES

- Binghamton (6-8, 1-0 AE) beat UMBC 69-62 on Wednesday night. Junior center Alyssa James turned in a 17-point, 10-rebound, six-block, four steal performance while freshman guard Carly Boland poured in a career-high 16 points. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina added 13 points while sophomore forward Rebecca Carmody chipped in 10 points.

- Junior guard Imani Watkins leads the America East and ranks No. 35 in the nation with 18.7 points per game. She is also first in the conference and is No. 41 in the nation with 2.6 steals per game. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina and Watkins rank first and second in the America East with 2.9 and 2.6 three-point field goals per game respectively. Sina is also No. 31 in the nation in that statistical category.  

- UMass Lowell (3-11, 0-1 AE) lost 93-69 at Albany on Wednesday night. Asia Mitchell-Owens scored a team-best 21 points while Markayla Sherman added a career-high 14 points against the Great Danes. Kayla Gibbs, meanwhile, ranks seventh in the America East with 12.4 points per game and is tied for third with 6.6 rebounds per contest.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 6-4, having swept both meetings last year. The Bearcats won 75-70 on the road on Jan. 24 and rallied for a 55-52 triumph on Feb. 20 at the Events Center. Imani Watkins had 27 points in the first game and 21 points in the second contest. At Lowell, the Bearcats have won two of the previous three games since the River Hawks joined the America East prior to the 2013-14 season. 

- The Bearcats lead the America East and are No. 27 in the nation with 8.4 three-point field goals per game. The Bearcats also rank second in the conference and No. 42 in the nation in blocks (4.9 bpg.). They are also in the conference in both scoring (64.6 ppg.) and steals (9.4 spg.). 

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks No. 11 in program history with 1,165 points. In 10th place with 1,176 points is Viive Rebane (2008-12) while Laine Kurpniece (2004-08) is ninth with 1,188 career points. Watkins, who reached the 1,000-point mark against Sacred Heart on Nov. 23, has seven games this season with at least 20 points including a program-record six straight from Nov. 16-Dec. 6.
