Men's Soccer Travels to Hartford

Bearcats and Hawks Square Off Wednesday at 7 p.m.









STORY LINES

- Binghamton (3-5-3, 0-0-2 AE) tied No. 16 UMBC 1-1 on Saturday night before 1,967 fans at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Homecoming Weekend. It marked the eighth-highest attendance in facility history. Senior forward Ben Ovetsky netted his first goal of the season on an assist by redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Alejandro Cubillo.

- The Bearcats enter the match against Hartford ranked second in the America East with 1.727 goals per game.  Individually, junior forward Nikos Psarras is tied for second in the conference with six goals and is fourth with 12 total points. Freshman midfielder Noah Luescher, meanwhile, is tied for second with four assists and is tied for fifth with 10 total points.

- Hartford (3-7-0, 0-2-0 AE) dropped a 3-0 decision at No. 21 New Hampshire on Saturday night. Alexis Triadis leads the Hawks with three goals, three assists and nine total points.

- The series between Binghamton and Hartford is tied at 7-7-4. Last season, the two teams played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 8. Nikos Psarras scored the Bearcats' goal just 7:17 in the match. The two teams also played to a scoreless tie in their last meeting at Hartford, on Oct. 17, 2015.
