Men's Soccer Heads to Bucknell for Non-Conference Game

Bearcats and Bison kick off Tuesday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

Binghamton (4-6-3, 1-1-2 AE) lost 2-1 in overtime at No. 23 New Hampshire on Saturday night. Redshirt freshman back Kurt Wesch forced overtime by scoring the game-tying goal in the 82nd minute.
Junior forward Nikos Psarras continues to lead Binghamton with six goals and 12 total points. Freshman midfielder Noah Luescher is second with three goals and first with four assists. He is also second with 10 total points. Sophomore forward Haris Brkovic has four goals and freshman forward Jack Muller, the current America East Rookie of the Week, has scored three times.
Muller is the second Binghamton player this season to be named the America East Rookie of the Week. Luescher was selected on both Aug. 28 and Sept. 11. So far this season, 12 of the 21 Bearcat goals have been scored by freshmen or transfer players.
Bucknell (4-6-3, 2-3-0 Patriot League) lost 2-1 at Colgate on Saturday. Nick King scored in the 78th minute but the Raiders responded with a pair of goals to pull out the victory. King leads the Bison with four goals and 10 total points so far this season.
Binghamton leads the all-time series against Bucknell 6-4-2. Most recently, the Bearcats won 1-0 at home on Sept. 27, 2016. Current senior forward Ben Ovetsky netted the game winner.
Binghamton has played in four consecutive overtime games for the first time during its 17-year NCAA Division I era. The 2007 squad was the most recent Bearcat team to play in three straight overtime games (Oct. 6-13 of that season).
