VESTAL, N.Y. – Freshman forward Jack Muller has been named the America East Rookie of the Week for Oct. 9-15. It marks the first time in his career that he has earned the conference's weekly accolade.

Muller scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime as Binghamton (4-6-3, 1-1-2 AE) defeated Hartford 1-0 on the road this past Wednesday. He now has three goals this season, two of which have been game winners.

Binghamton now has had two freshman earned Rookie of the Week honors so far this season. Noah Luescher, who is tied with Muller with three goals, was picked on August 28 and Sept. 12.

Up next for the Bearcats is a non-conference game at Bucknell on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
