STORY LINES

- Binghamton (10-12, 5-4 AE) lost 53-45 at UMBC on Wednesday night. Junior guard Imani Watkins netted a game-high 22 points to go along with seven rebounds. Junior center Alyssa James finished with nine rebounds and a game-high four blocks. Off the bench, sophomore forward Rebecca Carmody had six points and six rebounds. 

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks second in the America East and is No. 38 in the nation with 18.8 points per game. She is also tied for the conference lead with 2.2 steals per contest. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina leads the America East and ranks No. 42 in the nation with 2.7 three-point field goals per game. Junior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, is first in the conference with 1.8 blocks per game, is tied for third in rebounding (7.0 rpg.) and is tied for fourth in steals (2.0 spg.).

- UMass Lowell (3-19, 0-9 AE) lost 79-60 to visiting Albany on Wednesday night. Kayla Gibbs finished with 16 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. For the season, Gibbs ranks sixth in the America East with 13.5 points per game and first with 8.7 rebounds per contest. 

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 7-4, having won the past three meetings. Earlier in the season, the Bearcats won 58-48 in Lowell on Jan. 7. Junior guard Imani Watkins scored a game-high 19 points while redshirt sophomore point guard Jasmine Sina added 12 points. At the Events Center, Binghamton is 2-1 against the River Hawks, having won the past two meetings. 

- The Bearcats lead the America East and are No. 41 in the nation with 4.9 blocks per game. Binghamton also ranks first in the conference and No. 48 in the nation with 7.6 three-point field goals per game. In addition, it is third in the conference in both scoring (62.4 ppg.) and steals (9.3 spg.). 

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks fifth in program history with 1,317 points. She reached the 1,000-point mark against Sacred Heart on Nov. 23. In fourth place all time, with 1,341 career points, is current Binghamton Associate Head Coach Leah Truncale.
