Women's Lacrosse Falls 21-10 to No. 17 Albany

Box Score VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton women's lacrosse team fell 21-10 to No. 17 Albany this afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The contest served as the regular season finale for both teams.

Albany and Binghamton traded goals through the first five minutes of play. Tiffany Ryan scored on an assist from Emily Yoo at 25:18 before Rebecca Golderman netted an unassisted goal shortly after. Golderman's goal scored the game at 2-2, and was also her 42nd goal of the season. With this, the sophomore broke the record for single season goals previously set by Beth Moore in 2011 (41).

Albany finished the first half on an 11-4 run. Golderman secured a hat trick in the first half, adding two more goals to the Bearcats total. Yoo scored on an assist from Golderman with 25 seconds left to play and Amelia Biancardi netted one just before the buzzer. The Great Danes carried a 13-6 lead into the half.

Bearcats saw goals from Valerie DeNapoli, Yoo and Biancardi in the second half, but couldn't keep up with Albany's offense. Albany scored eight times before the game ran out to finish the game with a 21-10 win.

Emma Jehle made nine saves in the net for the Bearcats.
