Men's Soccer Travels to Colgate

Bearcats meet defending Patriot League champions Monday at 7 p.m.








STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-0-0) defeated George Washington 4-0 in its season opener on Friday night before 928 fans at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Freshman midfielder Noah Luescher had a game-high three points (one goal and an assist). The other three goals were scored by junior forward Chris Nkogue, freshman forward Jack Muller and junior forward Nikos Psarras.

- Colgate (0-1-0) is the defending Patriot League champion but it lost 1-0 on Friday night at New Hampshire on a goal in the 85th minute. Jared Stroud is the Raiders' top returning scorer, having scored four goals and tallied eight assists in 2016.

- Binghamton and Colgate meet for the first time since the 2012 season opener. Playing at home, the Raiders won that game 3-2 in overtime. Colgate also leads the all-time series 3-4-3.
