STORY LINES
- Binghamton (3-5-1, 0-0-0 AE) lost 3-2 at Cornell on Tuesday night. Sophomore forward
Haris Brkovic scored two goals for the second straight game – both of which were unassisted. Brkovic is the current America East Player of the Week.

Nikos Psarras continues to be tied for first in the America East with six goals and is third with 12 total points. Freshman midfielder
Noah Luescher is second in the conference with four assists and is tied for fifth with 10 total points.
- Stony Brook (5-2-2, 0-0-0 AE) is coming off a 1-1 tie against George Washington on Tuesday night. Vince Erdei scored the game-tying goal on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute. For the season, Erdei is tied for third in the America East with five goals and is fourth with 11 total points.
- Binghamton came into the week ranked No. 20 among all NCAA Division I program with 2.00 goals per game. Psarras, meanwhile, was No. 17 with 0.75 goals per game.
- The Bearcats lead the all-time series against Stony Brook 9-6-4. Last season, the two teams played to a scoreless draw on Oct. 29 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. In the most recent matchup at Stony Brook, Binghamton rallied for a 3-2 overtime win in the America East quarterfinals.
- Binghamton is 2-0-1 in its last three America East openers. Last year,
Kevin Flesch scored in the closing seconds of regulation as the Bearcats gained a 1-1 tie at then No. 17 UMass Lowell.
