SCHEDULE NOTE

- Binghamton will honor its two seniors -- Imani Watkins and Alyssa James -- during a brief ceremony before the National Anthem.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (18-8, 9-4 AE) won 52-38 against Vermont on Wednesday. Senior guard Imani Watkins finished with a game-high 16 points while sophomore guard Kai Moon turned in a 13-point, 13-rebound, seven-assist performance. Junior forward Rebecca Carmody had 10 points and eight rebounds. Senior center Alyssa James blocked a game-high six shots and grabbed 11 rebounds.

- Watkins continues to lead the America East and ranks No. 14 in the nation with 21.3 points per game. She is also third in the conference in steals (2.4 spg.). James is tops in the America East and fourth in the nation with 3.4 blocks per game. She is also first in the America East -- and No. 29 in the nation -- in rebounding (9.9 rpg.).

- As a team, Binghamton leads the conference and is No. 13 in the nation with 6.0 blocks per game. The Bearcats are also first in the America East in rebounding (39.7rpg.) and second in both scoring (65.0 ppg.) and scoring defense (57.0 ppg.). In addition, Binghamton is No. 19 in the nation in field goal percentage defense (.357) and No. 33 in scoring defense.

- With 2,022 career points, Watkins ranks second all-time in Binghamton program history and No. 10 all-time in the America East. Bess Greenberg set the program record with 2,024 points from 1997-01. Watkins is two points away from tying -- and three from breaking -- Greenberg's record.

With 992 rebounds during her collegiate career, James is eight away from the 1,000 mark. She had 291 rebounds during her freshman season at Caldwell University (2013-14) and has 701 during her three years at Binghamton.

- UMass Lowell (4-22, 1-12 AE) lost 70-65 at first-place Maine on Wednesday. Brianna Rudolph led all scorers with 21 points. Kayla Gibbs, who is ninth in the America East in scoring (12.7 ppg.) and third in rebounding (8.7 rpg.), added 13 points and seven rebounds against the Black Bears.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMass Lowell 9-4, including a 7-2 mark during the America East era (UMass Lowell joined the conference in 2013-14). The Bearcats have won the past five meetings. Earlier this season, the Bearcats won 76-46 at UMass Lowell on Jan. 21 behind 33 points by Watkins.

A Win Over UMass Lowell Would...

- Be the Bearcats' eighth win in their past nine games
- Give Binghamton 19 wins for the season -- which would tie its highest total during its 17-year NCAA Division I era. The 2001-02 and 2010-11 squads each posted 19 wins.
- Clinch Binghamton's fourth 10-win season in America East play and its first since the 2010-11 season.
- Mark its best record through 27 games since being 19-8 during the 2001-02 season.

Milestones to Watch for vs. UMass Lowell...

- Imani Watkins is two points away from tying (and three points away from breaking) Binghamton's all-time program record of 2,024 -- set by Bess Greenberg from 1997-01.
- Alyssa James is eight rebounds away from the 1,000-mark for her collegiate career. She has 701 rebounds at Binghamton (sixth all-time) and had 291 rebounds during her freshman year at Caldwell University -- giving her 992 for her career.
- With 88 blocks so far this season, Alyssa James is four rejections away from tying her own America East record (92 in 2015-16). She is also seven blocks away from the Binghamton record (95, by Alicia Brennan in 1989-90).
