Men’s Soccer Resumes AE Play at Vermont

Bearcats and Catamounts kick off Saturday at 7 p.m.

- Binghamton (3-6-1, 0-2-0 AE) beat Columbia 2-1 on Tuesday night at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Freshman forward Ethan Homler scored both goals within a two-minute stretch midway through the first half.

- Vermont (6-4-0, 1-1-0 AE) is coming off a 1-0 shutout victory at Dartmouth on Tuesday night. The win snapped the Big Green's 23-game home unbeaten streak. Alex Nagy recorded his first-career game-winning goal in the 63rd minute.

- Vermont leads the all-time series 12-6-3, having taken the past five meetings. Most recently, the Catamounts won 1-0 on Oct. 27, 2018 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Binghamton's last win in the series was a 2-1 triumph in Burlington back on Oct. 8, 2015.

- Junior midfielder Noah Luescher continues to pace the Bearcats with four goals and nine total points so far this season. In the America East statistical rankings, he is fourth with 0.44 goals per game and is tied for fourth with 1.00 points per game.

- Ramus Tobinski of Vermont has a team-best seven goals and 16 total points so far this season. He is second in the conference with 0.78 goals per game and is first with 1.78 points per game.
