VESTAL, N.Y. - After seeing its four-game win streak snapped on Sunday, Binghamton men's basketball (4-4) returns to the Events Center where it is unbeaten, when the Bearcats (4-4) welcome reigning Patriot League champion Colgate (5-3) Wednesday night. The teams tip at 7 p.m. at Dr. Bai Lee Court in a game broadcast on ESPN3.
Sophomore guard 
Sam Sessoms leads BU in scoring (19.1 ppg.) and assists (4.6 apg.). Freshman forward 
George Tinsley is averaging 12.4 points and a team-high 9.0 rebounds. Freshman guard 
Brenton Mills (11.1 ppg.) is the team's other double-digit scorer. Senior forward 
Pierre Sarr (8.3 rpg.) has hit double-digit rebounds in three straight games.

Sam Sessoms led all scorers with 19 points but the Bearcats struggled beyond the arc (7-for-26) and Colgate shot 50 percent in the second half to turn a see-saw game in its favor.

BU vs. Patriot League  
With the loss at Loyola, Binghamton is 11-32 all-time against members of the Patriot League, which is the league that BU has faced the most in Division I non-conference games. Colgate is the third of four PL teams BU will face this season (Army, Loyola, Colgate, Boston Univ.).
Tinsley nets second Rookie of Week honor  
Freshman forward 
George Tinsley earned his second America East Rookie of the Week honor with his selection on Dec. 2. Tinsley averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week and along the way, registered his third double-double of the season. Tinsley scored a season-high 24 points with 10 rebounds at Loyola and shot 50 percent for the week. His selection gives BU back-to-back ROW honors, as 
Brenton Mills was the choice on Nov. 25.
Bearcats are seventh youngest team in nation
Binghamton is ranked No. 347 in experience (7th youngest team in nation) by KenPom. In each of the last three games, BU has started three freshmen (Mills, Tinsley, Hjalmarsson), a sophomore (Sessoms) and a senior (Sarr).
