OLEAN, N.Y. – The Binghamton swimming & diving teams wrapped a busy three weeks of training and meets at St. Bonaventure on Monday afternoon. The Bearcat women were defeated by the host Bonnies 188-112 while the men lost 201-99.
On the women's side, senior
Olivia Santos won the 50 free for the fourth time in as many meets. Against the Bonnies, she clocked a time of 24.70.
In the men's meet, the Bearcats swept the butterfly events. Freshman
Justin Meyn captured the 100 fly (51.86) while senior
Ross Bernstein took top honors in the 200 fly (1:55.46).
Binghamton now has three weeks before the America East Championships. The four-day event will be held Feb. 13-16 and be hosted by WPI.
