VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton wrestling returns to action Saturday with a road dual against No. 7 Cornell at the Friedman Wrestling Center. The Bearcats did not compete last weekend, but are coming off two victories over Columbia and Navy on the final weekend of January.

Ryan Anderson and Brevin Cassella highlighted Binghamton's successful weekend against Columbia and Navy, as they each went 2-0 and picked up signature wins over ranked opponents.

Anderson defeated No. 19 (then No.16) Matt Kazimir (Columbia) with a last second takedown and two back points to get the 6-4 decision, and Cassella dominated No. 19 Josh Ogunsanya (Columbia) en route to a 9-0 major decision.

Lou DePrez also had an undefeated weekend, getting a technical fall over Columbia and an overtime win against Navy.

Five Bearcats appeared in the rankings this week, the most the team has produced this season. Cassella was an honorable mention in FloWrestling's rankings, and joined DePrez (No. 13), Anderson (No. 18), Doyle (No. 20) and Anthony Sobotker (No. 32).
