VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's lacrosse hits the road for a contest with the University of Pittsburgh Sunday at Highmark Stadium. The Bearcats have won their last two games, beating Lafayette and Marist by a combined score of 33-14. Wednesday's matchup with Canisius was postponed due to inclement weather.

Binghamton got off to a hot start against Marist, scoring six unanswered goals in the first period and outscored the Red Foxes 3-2 in the second period to take a 9-2 lead going into halftime. The Bearcats kept the pressure on and cruised their way to a 15-6 win and their second consecutive victory.

The freshmen duo of Oliva Muscolino and Abigail Carrol continue to lead the way for the Bearcats this season. They each added four goals to their season totals against Marist. Both have 12 goals on the season.

Binghamton's leading scorer is sophomore Madison Murphy, who added a hat trick against Marist. She now has 15 goals on the year, which is good enough for fifth in the America East.
