Men’s Soccer Travels to UMBC For Regular-Season Finale

Bearcats and Retrievers Square Off Tuesday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (4-9-2, 2-2-2 AE) lost 5-0 to No. 25 Bryant Friday evening. The match marked the Bearcats' annual Senior Day Game.

- Graduate student midfielder Jack Green leads Binghamton with ten total points this season with three goals and four assists. He is ranked seventh in the America East with .267 assists per game. Redshirt senior midfielder Anthony Lazaridis has five total points this season with two goals and an assist.

- UMBC (7-3-4, 3-1-2 AE) is coming off a scoreless tie against NJIT Friday evening. In that match, UMBC outshot NJIT 19-6 but could not find the back of the net

- Taylor Calheira leads the Retrievers with 23 total points this season with ten goals and three assists. He is ranked first in the America East in both goals (.714 per game) and total points (1.64 per game). Alek Wroblewski has 14 total points and is ranked fourth in the conference with 1.08 points per game.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 12-8-4. Last season, the Bearcats defeated the Retrievers twice - 4-2 during the regular season on Nov. 1 and then 3-2 in overtime in the America East Quarterfinals on Nov. 5.

- The Bearcats have already qualified for the upcoming America East Tournament and can be seeded anywhere from No. 4 to No. 6. The quarterfinals begin on Saturday.
