VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's lacrosse travels to Bryant on Saturday afternoon trying to stay unbeaten in America East play. The Bearcats are coming off a thrilling victory against Vermont.

Notes

• Binghamton is averaging 12.6 goals per game and 5.5 assists per game

• Abigail Carroll leads the team with 30 goals, which is tied for fourth in the America East. She also leads the team with 37 points, which is eighth best in the conference. Carroll is t-36th in the NCAA in goals. 

• Olivia Muscolino (26 goals, 10 assists) and Kenna Newman (15 goals, 21 assists) are tied for second on the team with 36 points. Muscolino had a career-high seven points in the win against Vermont

• Angelina Suau leads the America East with 34 ground balls, which is 11th in the NCAA. Suau is third in the America East in ground balls per game (2.83), which has her 24th in the NCAA. Suau is also second in the America East in caused turnovers (27) and caused turnovers per game (2.25). Suau was named America East Defensive Player of the Week with a career-high six caused turnovers against Vermont. Suau also picked up four ground balls in the game.

• Five more players have more than ten goals on the season. Marisa Tancredi is third on the team with 19 goals, Isabella Meli is fourth with 17 goals, Hayley Weltner has 16 goals,  Kristen Scheidel has 11 goals on the season, and Madison Murphy has 10 goals.. Scheidel was named AE Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Scheidelled the team with three goals vs UNH, but also caused five turnovers and had four ground balls.

• Weltner has a team-high 69 draw controls and ranks third in the America East in draw controls and draw controls per game (5.75). Weltner set a new BU single-game record with 14 draw controls against UMBC on March 18. Weltner is 17th in the NCAA for draw controls.

• Emily Manning is t-2ndin the America East and is t-24th in the NCAA with 89 saves. Manning is also third in the conference with 7.42 saves per game.

Scouting the Bulldogs

• In their most recent game, Bryant defeated UMBC, 13-12. Kenna Kaut had eight goals in the game, and she was named America East Offensive Player of the Week.

• Kaut leads the team and conference with 46 goals. Kaut is in the top 10 in the NCAA for goals.

• Skylar Simmonds is second on the team with 29 goals and Emily Oliver is third with 24 goals. Chamberlaine Bell leads Bryant with 25 assists, while Oliver has 24. 

• Sam Centofante has 69 saves on the season and a save percentage of .423.
