ALBANY, N.Y. - No. 2 seed Binghamton women's lacrosse battles top seed and host UAlbany for the America East Championship at John Fallon Field on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. The game will be nationally televised on ESPNU. The Bearcats defeated Vermont, 12-10, in the semifinals, outscoring the Catamounts by five (6-1) in the final period for their first postseason win in program history. Binghamton will look for revenge after falling to the Great Danes at home in the regular season, 16-11.

Binghamton recorded its first 10-win season, a program best 5-1 record in the America East during the regular season, the longest win streak (seven) in program history, and the team rewrote the program record book, setting multiple team and individual records during the regular season.

2023 America East Goalkeeper of the Year Emily Manning made six key saves in the semifinal win against Vermont.
- America East First Team midfielder Abigail Carroll scored a game-high five points, including a game-high four goals to bring her season total to 40. Carroll tied the BU single-season record with her 17th free position goal of the year and ranks among the nation's best in that category. Second Team selection Kristen Scheidel added a hat trick, while Second Team selection Olivia Muscolino scored two key goals in the victory. Hayley Weltner, a Second Team selection, recorded a game-high nine draw controls in the win. Isabella Meli netted the go-ahead goal with 2:55 left in the fourth period.

Angelina Suau was named a First Team selection after finishing second in the conference with 35 caused turnovers and third in the conference with 41 ground balls in the regular season. Suau had four caused turnovers and three ground balls in the semifinal win against Vermont.
- 2023 America East Second Team selection Kenna Newman scored her 100th career point and 50th career goal in the first period against Vermont.

UAlbany defeated New Hampshire 20-10 in the semifinals. The Great Danes outshot New Hampshire 28-15. The Great Danes also won 23-of-33 draw controls.
- Katie Pascale was named America East Midfielder of the Year. In the semifinal win against UNH, Pascale set a new America East postseason record and new program record with 12 points in the game. She tied an America East Tournament record with seven goals. She also set a new program record for assists (104) in the victory.

2023 America East First Team selection Sarah Falk scored six goals in the victory, including the first four of the game. Shonly Wallace and Grace McCauley each added two goals.

Freshman goalie and All-Rookie selection Grace Cincebox made five saves in the victory.
