Men’s Soccer Hosts St. Bonaventure in Home Opener

Bearcats and Bonnies square off Tuesday at 6:07 p.m.

STORY LINES:

- Binghamton (0-3-0) was defeated 2-1 at Colgate Friday evening. Graduate student midfielder Jack Green scored the Bearcats' goal in the third minute of the match. Junior back Carlo Cavalar was credited with the assist.

- St. Bonaventure (1-1-1) was most recently defeated by Central Connecticut State 3-2 on Friday afternoon. The Bonnies previously won their series opener 2-0 against Houston Christian on Aug. 24 and tied their match 1-1 against Incarnate Word on Aug. 27.

- Binghamton's all-time series record against St. Bonaventure is deadlocked at 2-2-2. The Bonnies defeated the Bearcats 2-0 in their last face-off on Sept. 5, 2022.

- Tuesday's match marks the second time Binghamton faces St. Bonaventure in its home opener. The first time was Aug. 30, 2021 in which Binghamton emerged victorious 2-1. That win also marked the last time the Bearcats have beaten the Bonnies.

- Since moving into the Bearcats Sports Complex in 2007, Binghamton is 10-5-1 in home openers.
