Bearcats and unbeaten Spartans play single games Friday, Saturday and Sunday

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball plays its second series of 2024 when the Bearcats (0-3) face unbeaten UNC Greensboro (4-0) in a three-game set this weekend at UNC Baseball Stadium.

The Bearcats opened their season in Houston against the Big 12 Cougars last weekend and dropped three games. Junior third baseman Devan Bade hit .364 and BU's pitching staff posted a 5.62 ERA.

The Spartans are riding high after knocking off the nation's top team, No. 1 Wake Forest, 4-3, on Tuesday. That win came on the heels of a three-game opening weekend sweep of Fairfield. Senior DH Caleb Cozart is hitting .429 and leads the Southern Conference in home runs (4) and RBI (11).
