Men’s Soccer Travels to UAlbany

Bearcats and Great Danes kick off Saturday at 6 p.m.

STORY LINES 

- Binghamton (4-10-0, 0-4-0 AE) lost 2-0 to second-ranked Bryant last Saturday on Senior Day. The Bulldogs represented the highest-ranked Division I opponent that the Bearcats had ever hosted.

- Junior forward Anthony Randazzo continues to rank second in the America East with  0.56 goals and 1.11 points per match. Sophomore midfielder DT Megliola, meanwhile, is tied for third with 0.29 assists per game.

- UAlbany (4-5-4, 2-1-1 AE) won 2-0 over visiting UMBC last Friday. Jordan Shullenberger and Jordan Navas netted the Great Dane goals.

- Ivar Gissurarson leads the Great Danes with four goals and 10 total points so far this season. Navas and Rodrigo Hermelo are tied for the team lead with three assists.

- Binghamton leads its Division I era series against UAlbany 12-10-5. Most recently, the two squads played to a 1-1 deadlock at the Bearcats Sports Complex back on Nov. 1, 2024. In its last trip to UAlbany, however, Binghamton came away with a 3-1 victory.
