VESTAL, N.Y. – Binghamton men's tennis announces the addition of Vonn Dudek for the fall of 2026, head coach
Nick Zieziula announced on Wednesday.
"It is great to add another Hamburg native to the program, Vonn is a talented athlete with his best tennis ahead of him." coach Zieziula said. "His experience in basketball has him well positioned to grasp the team dynamics of college tennis and he has been working with great coaches in Ethan Nittolo and Joe Schafer who understand college tennis and will have him ready to go."
Dudek will come in with a heavy winning resume. The two-time Nichols tennis captain has a 37-2 record. He's a two-time Monsignor Martin Singles Champion and Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025. He is also a three-time MML Team Champion (2023, 2024, 2025).
For the 2026 class, Dudek is rated as a 3-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net and has been ranked as high as 24th in New York State and 284th in the nation.
Dudek will join the Bearcats in the fall of 2026 with a squad that is looking to win their third consecutive NEC Championship this spring.
