Carletta Bennett has been named the America East Rookie of the Week. It marks the first time in her career that she has earned the conference's weekly accolade.
The Brampton, Ontario native registered 10 points off the bench on a career best 5-for-6 shooting from the field in Saturday's 69-58 victory over Marist. She also provided three rebounds, one block, one steal and one assist in the win.
The last time a Bearcat won AE Rookie of the Week was teammate
Abby Misier in December of 2024.
Binghamton has won three straight and will look to extend their streak to four tomorrow night against Syracuse at the JMA Wireless Dome. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
