Bearcats and SEC member Tigers play Friday night, DH on Saturday, finale Sunday afternoon

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball heads into SEC territory when the Bearcats (3-6) travel to Columbia, Mo. to face Missouri (6-6) in a four-game weekend set. The teams meet at 6 p.m. Friday, continue with a doubleheader Saturday (2 p.m.) and then play the finale at 2 p.m. Sunday at Taylor Stadium.

The Bearcats have split their last six games and are coming off a 1-2 showing at East Tennessee State last weekend. Senior catcher Zach Rogacki leads the team with a .355 average. Senior catcher Evin Sullivan has a team-best seven RBI.

Binghamton is hitting .214 and has a 5.96 pitching ERA.

Missouri plays in the rugged 16-team SEC, which currently boasts eight of the top-14 ranked teams in the country and half of the top-20. The Tigers took two of three games from Evansville last weekend. Missouri ranked seventh in the SEC in offense last season after scoring nearly six runs per game. They are 52-17 vs. non-conference opponents in the last three years and have at least one win per season over the reigning NCAA champions in that same span.

The Tigers are hitting .298 and have a 6.88 pitching ERA.
