UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. –
Brandon Conner shot his best round of the Rutherford Intercollegiate on Sunday as the Binghamton golf team completed the 54-hole tournament at Penn State's Blue Course.
The junior shot 72/1-over par throughout the final 18 holes to finish the event tied for 37th at 77-74-72 = 223/10-over par. Conner posted three birdies on Sunday, the most out of any of his three rounds.
Binghamton ultimately finished 12th as a team at 305-302-304 = 911/59-over par. Delaware won the team title, while Rhode Island's Luke Stennett took medalist honors.
The Bearcats next compete at Columbia's Roar-EE Invitational on Saturday at Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston, N.Y.
