VESTAL, N.Y. – For the third year in a row, Binghamton golfer Brandon Conner has been named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Monday.
 
In order to be eligible to be named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, a golfer must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically, participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
 
Conner becomes the second golfer in program history to receive this honor in each of his three years of eligibility. The other golfer to accomplish this feat is Jeff Wolniewicz, who earned the honor from 2005-07.
 
In total, Binghamton has had 11 Cobalt Golf Division I All-America Scholars dating back to 2002. Other previous winners include Adam Fuchs (2002, 03), Jake Katz (2010, 11) and Jack Sedgewick (2014).
 
Binghamton begins its 2026-27 season by competing in the Alex Lagowitz Memorial from Sept. 5-6 at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.
