ORONO, Maine - No. 3 Binghamton baseball (27-23) will have to wait a day to continue its championship quest after Friday's games at the Northeast Delta Dental America East Championship were postponed due to rain. The Bearcats' winners' bracket game against No. 5 UAlbany (22-30) will now be played at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mahaney Diamond. Top-seed Bryant will face the loser at 3 p.m. The championship series will be played Sunday with games at noon and 4 p.m. (if necessary).
Binghamton is 2-0 at the tournament after wins over No. 6 UMBC (14-8) and No. 2 NJIT (15-10). Dating back to the 2022 tournament, which the Bearcats won at Maine, Binghamton has now won five straight tournament games at Mahaney Diamond.

Devan Bade each have a grand slam and seven RBI in the two games. Kent is 5-for-10 with two home runs and a double. Freshman center fielder

The Bearcats will send graduate right-hander
Ryan Packard (3-5, 7.31 ERA) to the hill to face the Great Danes.
UAlbany is riding high after knocking off host Maine and then No. 1 Bryant to reach the winners' bracket final. The Great Danes have won nine of their last 12 games. They will start freshman right-hander Ethan Nardacci (1-3, 7.25 ERA)
