Volleyball Unveils 2025 Schedule

Bearcats set to play 26 matches this fall, including two home invitationals

VESTAL, N.Y. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Volleyball released its 2025 season schedule Wednesday afternoon, announced Head Coach Allie Yaeger. 

"We're excited about the challenges this year's schedule presents," said Yaeger. "Our schedule has a good balance of strong nonconference opponents and competitive conference play that will push us to grow every week. Our team is hungry and ready to build on last season and we can't wait to get started."

The 2025 slate features 25 total matches and 13 home contests, including two invitationals in Vestal. In addition to the annual Bearcat Classic, the team will also host the Binghamton Invitational inside the Events Center this September. 

The Bearcats finish up preseason preparations with an exhibition match at Colgate, Aug. 22. 

Binghamton kicks off the 2025 season with the Bearcat Classic, Aug. 29-30, where the Bearcats will play host to Fordham, UConn, and Lehigh. Binghamton stays at home for a midweek matchup against Villanova, Sept. 3, before hitting the road the following weekend at Black Knight Invitational, Sept. 5-7, to compete against Rider, Hofstra and host Army. 

The Bearcats return to Vestal for the Binghamton Invitational, Sept. 12–13, welcoming Mercyhurst, Canisius, and Bucknell. Binghamton concludes invitational action with a road trip to East Lansing, Mich., for a matchup against Big Ten's Michigan State on Sept 18, followed by contests against SIUE, Sept. 19, and Bowling Green, Sept. 20. 

The Bearcats open America East play at UAlbany, Sept. 26. Binghamton hosts three straight matches against Colgate, Sept. 30, UMBC, Oct. 3, and NJIT, Oct. 5. 

Next, the Bearcats face Bryant on the road, Oct. 12, and New Hampshire at home, Oct. 17. Binghamton closes out nonconference action at New Haven, Oct. 22, before heading south to UMBC, Oct. 26. 

The following weekend the Bearcats come back to the Southern Tier for a match against UAlbany, Oct. 31. Binghamton then heads to NJIT, Nov. 2, before hosting its final regular season contest against Bryant, Nov. 7. 

The 2025 campaign wraps up at New Hampshire, Nov. 14, ahead of the America East Championships set for Nov. 21-22.
