LEWISBURG, Pa. – Binghamton posted six individual event winners as it began 2026 at the Bucknell Gulden Indoor Track & Field Invitational on Saturday. The Bearcat men were second out of 11 teams while the women placed third out of 12 programs.
Binghamton swept both the 60 hurdle and pole vault titles. The 60 hurdle events were won by junior Brennan Delany (8.05) and junior Alexa Colondona (8.89). Senior Alyssa Armitage took top honors in the women's pole vault (12-1 ½) while freshman Owen Keating's winning height of 16-4 ¾ in the men's competition currently ranks No. 95 in the nation so far this seasonÂ
The other two Bearcat winners at Bucknell included junior Putu Sutayasa in the men's long jump (23-2 ½) and freshman Gabrielle Rothstein in the women's 400 (58.35).
Delaney was also second in the men's long jump (23-0). Other runner-up finishes on the men's side were sophomore Bobby Mayclim in the mile (4:18.31), sophomore Jacob Park in the pole vault (15-5) and freshman Noah Hilker in the 1,000 (2:30.09).
Second-place finishes on the women's side were turned in by junior Dami Modupe in the 60 hurdles (8.93) and freshman Bella Lucas, who tied for second place in the triple jump (37-5 ¾).
Redshirt junior Brian Luciano was third in the men's weight throw (64-5) while senior Andrew Rosenblatt took third in the mile (4:20.87).
Up next for Binghamton is a pair of meets this coming weekend - the Penn State National Open Friday and Saturday as well as the Cornell Invitational on Saturday.
