VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's basketball travels to Smithfield, R.I. for their only game this week against Bryant (14-6, 4-3 AE) on Thursday for a 6 p.m. tip-off.
LAST TIME OUT
Binghamton picked up a 62-57 victory over Maine (10-11, 5-3 AE) at the Events Center on Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats improved to 6-1 in conference play, the first time since 2010-11.
Kendall Bennett and
Bella Pucci led the team in scoring with 14 points, while K. Bennett also registered her ninth double-double with 12 rebounds.

BENNETT TOP-10 IN FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE
Kendall Bennett sits among with the best in the nation, ranking eighth in field goal percentage at 61.2% (best in conference). The junior forward is averaging 13.8 points per game and has made a career-best 104 field goals this season.
MAJOR NET IMPROVEMENT
In the latest NET (NCAA Evaluation Tool) rankings, Binghamton was ranked in the top 50 percent of all times in division I. They're listed 157th out of 359 teams in the nation. Last year, the Bearcats were ranked 259 at this time, a 102 net difference from last year to this year. Bryant ranks just a few spots ahead of Binghamton at 153.
70 IS THE SWEET SPOT
Binghamton is 8-0 when scoring 70 or more points this season, showing that reaching that offensive threshold has been a strong indicator of success for the team with the efficiency and pace of play the Bearcats bring.
BEARCAT DEFENSE
The high-pressure defensive scheme and the depth of the roster have contributed to much success for the Bearcats' defensive game. In their seven games played in conference play, Binghamton is holding their opponents to under 60 points per game (59.5), while forcing 17.0 turnovers a game. The Bearcats also rank second in the conference in blocked shots, averaging 3.83 per game.
LEADING THE CONFERENCE
The Bearcats sit atop of the conference in a tie with a Vermont at 6-1. Binghamton leads the conference in free throw percentage (77.1%) and is the only team to have made 100 free throws in league play thus far.
Kendall Bennett is leading the league in field goal percentage and blocks per game (1.3). In league play, she is leading the league in rebounds per game (10.9) and is the only player to be averaging a double-double.
