First-place Bearcats welcome Wildcats for Senior Day; kickoff set for 1 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. - First-place Binghamton women's soccer looks to extend long unbeaten streak when the Bearcats (6-2-3, 2-0-1 America East) welcome New Hampshire (3-6-2, 0-3 AE) for Senior Day Sunday. The teams meet at 1 p.m. at the Bearcats Sports Complex, following pre-game festivities honoring Binghamton's five seniors.

Binghamton is coming off a convincing 6-0 road win at UAlbany Thursday night. In the game, 11 different Bearcats registered points and Bing tallied three goals in each half. The victory extended the program's unbeaten streak to 17 games (11-0-6) dating back to 2024.  The six goals are the most since the 2022 Bearcats put six on Vermont and the six-goal margin is Binghamton's highest in 24 years (7-0 win over Albany in 2002). Additionally, the six-goal margin is the widest in any America East game in 11 years.

Pre-game, the Bearcats will honor seniors Megan Baker, Bella Brown, Sophia Garofalo, Rebecca Kessler and Paige Luke.

New Hampshire is coming off a 2-0 home loss to Bryant on Thursday. After starting the season with a 3-1-2 clip that included impressive wins over Rhode Island and Northeastern, UNH has now lost five straight. The team returns 18 players from a 4-6-7 squad that tied for fifth last season and lost in the quarterfinals. New Hampshire has reached the America East championship game in three of the last five seasons.

New Hampshire leads the head-to-head series 15-8-8. UNH is the only America East member who has a winning record all-time against the Bearcats. The Wildcats are 4-1-2 in the last seven meetings. The teams played to a 1-1 draw last October in Durham. Bearcat fans will recall the end of that tie, when conference leading scorer Jahkaya Davis was pulled down to the ground by the jersey on a breakaway inside the box in the closing seconds but no call was made. Binghamton outshot UNH 20-10 and amassed seven corner kicks. Two years ago, UNH posted a 3-1 win in Vestal.
