Jahkaya Davis has been named America East Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning. It's her first weekly honor this season and third of her career.
Davis tallied three goals in a 2-0 week for the first-place Bearcats, who blanked UAlbany 6-0 and beat New Hampshire 2-1. With the three goals, she took over the conference scoring lead, now with seven on the season. At Albany, Davis scored once in each half to pace the Binghamton offense. On Sunday, Davis then added an opening goal in the home win over UNH. She has four goals in her last three games.
With the Davis honor, the Bearcats now have a weekly award winner for the second straight week and ninth time this season.Â
Binghamton is 3-0-1 in Ameria East play halfway through the conference slate. The Bearcats own an 18-game conference unbeaten streak (12-0-6) dating back to the 2024 season.Â
