Bearcats and Dolphins meet at 3 p.m. at Stadium

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball (8-11) welcomes one of its closest geographic rivals when Le Moyne (4-14) makes the trek down I-81 for a non-conference game Tuesday afternoon at Bearcats Baseball Stadium. First pitch is set for 3:05 p.m.

The Bearcats took two of three from UMass Lowell over the weekend to even their conference record at 3-3. Thanks to back-to-back games with double-digit runs, the team lifted its batting average to .236 (4th in AE). The pitching ERA sits at 6.68 (5th).

Zach Anderson is sixth in the conference in slugging (.574) and OBS (.959) and Matt Bolton is fifth in hits (24) and ninth in average (.320).

Senior Dan McAliney (1-0, 13.50 ERA) will start for the Bearcats.

Le Moyne was swept by Wagner on the road over the weekend. The losses stopped a stretch of four-wins-in-five games for the Dolphins, who now sit in a tie for sixth place in the 12-team NEC with a 4-5 mark. Le Moyne is hitting a solid .283 as a team but has an 11.32 pitching ERA. Junior right fielder Jack Cannon is hitting .432 (4th in NEC) with nine extra-base hits and 24 RBI (5th).

The Dolphins lead the all-time series 53-20, though Binghamton has won two straight and three of the last four. After not playing for 15 years, the teams have played in each of the last two seasons, with the Bearcats winning 10-3 in 2024 and 11-8 last spring.
