VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball plays its fourth straight weekend series on the road when the Bearats (2-7) travel to Virginia to face Atlantic 10 member Richmond (8-5). The teams will play Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Pitt Field.
Binghamton has taken one game in each of its last two series', including last weekend at High Point. The Bearcats are hitting .206 as a team and have an 8.23 pitching ERA.

Richmond is coming off a 9-4 home loss Tuesday against Longwood. The Spiders swept Cornell last weekend and also own a pair of wins over Penn State. Richmond returns just one starter from its 33-19 team of a year ago (14-16 in Atlantic 10). They added 15 freshmen and eight graduate students to 16 returners. The team is hitting .258 and has a pitching ERA of 6.49.
