VESTAL, N.Y., - Binghamton baseball caps a stretch of five non-conference games when the Bearcats (22-16) travel to Syracuse to face Le Moyne (14-21) Tuesday afternoon. The teams meet at 3 p.m. at Dick Rockwell Field.

The Bearcats dropped two of three to Longwood over the weekend but still have won 12 of their last 15 games and sit in first place in the America East standings.

Le Moyne took of two of three against Norfolk State in NEC play over the weekend. The Dolphins sit in fifth place (of 12) in the NEC standings.

The teams met on March 24 in Vestal with Binghamton prevailing 17-6 in a shortened 10-run-rule game. In that game, sophomore left fielder Grant Hunter belted two home runs and drove in four to spark a 16-hit attack. Binghamton actually trailed 2-0 before coming to bat but peppered Le Moyne pitching with six runs in the first, four in the second, one in the fourth and six finishing-runs in the sixth. The Bearcats hit four home runs and batted around in two innings.

The Dolphins lead the all-time series 53-21, though Binghamton has won three straight and four of the last five. After not playing for 15 years, the teams have played in each of the last two seasons, with the Bearcats winning 10-3 in 2024 and 11-8 last spring.
