VESTAL, N.Y. - After competing at the NCAA Morgantown Regional in West Virginia in late May, nearly two dozen Binghamton baseball players now are scattered up and down the East Coast playing summer ball. 

The two-time reigning America East champion Bearcats are spread out among 13 teams competing in eight summer leagues. 

Despite having to replace two-thirds of his '25 championship starting lineup, including four first-team all-conference selections, 34th-year head coach Tim Sinicki took a young 2026 team and accomplished the coveted America East "double," winning both the regular season and tournament titles. The Bearcats then returned to the NCAA Regionals for the second straight year and third time in the last five years. The team's school-record 31 wins included 11 straight conference victories that pushed the Bearcats to the top of the standings. The team had 18 comeback wins and showed their grit in a 3-0 sweep in the America East tournament, held at the Bearcats Baseball Stadium
