Men’s Cross Country ranked No. 11 in Northeast Region Poll

Bearcats move up four spots from preseason ranking

VESTAL, N.Y. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) has released its Northeast Region bi-weekly poll and the Binghamton men's team is ranked No. 11. The Bearcats move up four spots from the preseason poll.

Binghamton won the Iona Meet of Champions on Sept. 11. Junior Bobby Mayclim, who captured the individual championship, was later named the America East Performer of the Week. Sophomores George Thomatos, Anthony Zazzaro and Noah Hilker as well as senior Liam Cody were the other Binghamton runners who scored points at Iona. 

This marks the Bearcats' highest ranking since they were No. 10 in the season-ending poll for the 2013 season. 

Binghamton travels to the Lehigh/Paul Short Run on Oct. 3.
