ROCHESTER, Mich. - Binghamton men's basketball (2-5) wraps up its two-game Michigan swing with a Monday night game against Horizon League member Oakland University (4-3). The game, which tips at 7 p.m., will be shown on ESPN3.Â

QUICK HITS• Binghamton plays its second-straight first-time opponent and plays a member of the Horizon League for the first time when BU meets high-octane Oakland.Â
• The Bearcats have won two of their last four after starting the season 0-3.
• The team is finishing up a two-game, four-day trip through the state of Michigan — a trip that began with a 76-33 loss to No. 3 Michigan State on Saturday on ESPNU.
• Oakland is averaging 87.3 points on offense and is hitting nearly 10 three-pointers per game — in sharp contrast to BU's 60.0 ppg. and six threes per game.
• This will be the first of three Binghamton regular season games on ESPN3 (Jan. 6 vs. Stony Brook, Feb. 8 vs. Albany).
• Binghamton's rotation features no seniors and just two juniors. The team's underclassmen account for 84% of the minutes and 83% of the scoring. Of the team's eight players averaging double-digit minutes, seven are underclassmen.

Willie Rodriguez is the reigning America East Conference co-Player of the week after posting back-to-back 20-plus point performances last week. Rodriguez (15.4 ppg., 6.6 rpg.) is among the America East leaders in both scoring and rebounding.Â

ABOUT OAKLAND• Oakland netted 92 points and beat host Robert Morris 92-74 on Saturday. Senior guard Max Hooper drilled eight three-pointers to lead four players in double figures.Â
• Coach Greg Kampe is the nation's third-longest tenured coach (32nd season), behind only Jim Boeheim (Syracuse) and Mike Krzyzewski (Duke).
• The Golden Grizzlies return three starters and seven letterwinners from a 16-17 team that advanced to the CIT postseason tournament last winter.
• Oakland was picked to finish second (out of 10) in the Horizon League Preseason Poll.
• That team ranked 30th in the country in scoring (74.2 ppg.) and went 12-4 at home
• Junior point guard Kay Felder leads the Horizon League in scoring (23.5 ppg.). He was a Mid-Major All-American last season and is on the 2015 Lute Olson Award Preseason Watch List as the nation's top player.
• Iowa State transfer Sherron Dorsey-Walker is nearly averaging a double-double with 10.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
• Oakland reached the NCAA tournament in 2011 and nearly upset No. 4 seed Texas in the second round. They also played in the NCAAs in 2005 and 2010.Â
