VESTAL, N.Y. - Women's soccer begins the first of seven consecutive road games spanning one month on Sunday when the Bearcats (1-2-1) travel two hours to Loudonville to meet Siena (1-1-2). The teams will kick-off at 5 p.m. on grass Siena Field.

Binghamton is coming off a good performance on Friday when the host Bearcats regisgtered 11 shots and grabbed an early 1-0 lead before falling to Niagara 2-1.

Playing its fourth straight game at home to open the season, BU struck first when senior forward Stephani Church notched her second goal of the season 10:50 into the contest. Junior forward Leighann Bennett sent a corner kick to the near post where Church nudged it past the keeper.

Niagara tied it in the 36th minute off a corner kick and then got the deciding goal 57 seconds into the second half.

Siena is coming off an impressive 2-0 win over defending America East champion New Hampshire last Sunday. The Saints also have ties against Holy Cross (3-3) and Cornell (0-0) and a loss to fellow America East member Hartford (4-1) thus far.

The Bearcats are 8-2-1 all-time against Siena, including a 2-1 win last fall in Vestal.
