DURHAM, N.H. - Binghamton men's basketball aims for its first conference win when the Bearcats (3-11, 0-1 AE) face New Hampshire (7-6, 0-0 AE), the America East foe it's had the most success against in BU's 15-year Division I tenure (17-12). The teams tip-off from Lundholm Gym at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

QUICK HITS

•    The Bearcats have been hit hard by injuries. Junior guard Yosef Yacob (23 min. per game last year) was lost for the year in preseason. Starting sophomore guard Romello Walker (8.6 ppg. last year) had the same injury as Yacob and was lost for the season after playing just seven games. The team's lone senior, guard Karon Waller (67 career games) has been shut down for the season with injuries, leaving BU with four healthy guards.
•    Binghamton's current rotation features no seniors and just two juniors. The team's underclassmen account for 82% of the minutes and 83% of the scoring. Of the team's eight players averaging double-digit minutes, seven are underclassmen. The 11 underclassmen gives BU the eighth-highest underclassmen percentage in the country (73.3%).

LAST TIME OUT
•    In the conference opener on Wednesday, BU pushed AE favorite Stony Brook to the closing minutes in a 62-52 loss. The Seawolves closed out the game with a decisive 17-7 run.
•    BU outrebounded the AE leader and kept USB 14 points under its season average but hit just 3-of-18 three-pointers on the offensive end.
•    Sophomore center Bobby Ahearn tied his career high with 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
•    Freshman guard Everson Davis tallied 12 points — the 10th time he's reached double digits in 14 collegiate games.
•    The teams tightened their rotations and combined for just three bench points.

NEXT UP
•    Binghamton hosts Hartford on Wednesday. The Hawks own a 19-11 lead in the series and have won nine straight, though five wins have come by six or fewer points.

ABOUT UNH
•    The Wildcats enter conference play at 7-6 but have dropped four of their last six games.
•    UNH returns four starters and nine lettermen from a 19-13 team that finished fourth in the AE (11-5) and lost to Albany by a bucket in the semis.
•    Reigning AE Rookie of the Year Tanner Leissner leads the team in scoring (14.1 ppg.) and is second in rebounding (6.3 rpg.).
•    The Wildcats are putting 72 points on the board per game and rank second in the AE in rebounding (38.6/game).

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. UNH
•    Binghamton leads the series 17-12 — it's best mark vs. any team in the America East.
•    UNH has won two straight and seven of the last nine however.
•    The Wildcats swept the season series last year, winning 73-66 in Vestal and then 66-48 in Durham one month later.
•    Binghamton swept the season series in 2013-14.
