Women’s Soccer Heads to UMBC

Bearcats and Retrievers Square off Thursday at 7 p.m.









STORY LINES

- Binghamton (6-8-2, 2-4-0 AE) has won its past two games, including a 1-0 Senior Day triumph against UMass Lowell on Sunday.  Sophomore forward Jocelyn Acor scored her second goal of the season in the victory over the River Hawks.

- UMBC (5-9-1, 1-4-1 AE) is winless in its past three matches. Most recently, the Retrievers lost 1-0 to Stony Brook on Sunday. The Seawolves converted a penalty kick in the 50th minute.

- With two games left to go in the regular season, Binghamton sits in sixth and final playoff spot in the America East with six points. UMBC, meanwhile, is in ninth place with four points and faces a must-win game against the Bearcats.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against the Retrievers 10-1-2, having won the past two meetings. In Baltimore, the Bearcats are a perfect 6-0-0. The last three games have been decided by 1-0 scores, two of which have gone into double overtime.
