STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-3) was defeated 71-58 at BIG EAST opponent Providence on Saturday afternoon. Junior guard Imani Watkins netted a game-high 25 points while redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina finished with 13 points and junior center Alyssa James added 10 points. Freshman forward Karlee Krchnavi grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

- Junior guard Imani Watkins leads the America East and is tied for No. 28 in the nation with 22.0 points per game. She also leads the conference with 2.8 steals per game. Redshirt guard Jasmine Sina is second on the team and No. 10 in the conference with 11.8 points per game. Sophomore forward Rebecca Carmody leads the America East with 7.0 rebounds per game

- Sacred Heart (1-2) lost 68-62 at Lehigh on Saturday. Katherine Haines, who leads the Pioneers with 15.3 points per game, scored 20 points and had eight rebounds against the Mountain Hawks. Haines also leads the team with 7.0 rebounds per contest.

- With 991 career points, junior guard Imani Watkins needs nine more to become the 15th player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark for her career. The most recent Bearcat to reach the 1,000-point mark was Viive Rebane against St. Peter's on Dec. 29, 2011. Watkins would also be just the fifth Binghamton player to reach the 1,000-point mark in her junior season, with the last player being Andrea Holmes against Vermont on Jan. 23, 2011. She would also be the eighth player during the program's 15-year Division I era to reach the 1,000-point mark.

- Sacred Heart leads the all-time series 5-2, having won the past five meetings. Last year, the Pioneers took a 69-60 home decision on Dec. 12, 2015. Imani Watkins poured in a game-high 24 points while Alyssa James finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds in that game. Binghamton's last win in the series was a 53-52 triumph back on Jan. 20, 1999, when both programs were still competing at the Division II level.

- As a team, the Bearcats lead the America East with 8.5 three-point field goals per game. In addition, Binghamton is second in scoring defense (60.8 ppg.), three-point field goal percentage (.343), steals (10.0 spg.) and turnover ratio (+5.0 topg.)

- Junior center Alyssa James currently has 97 career blocks. She needs three more rejections to become just the fourth player in Binghamton program history with 100 career blocks.
