STORY LINES
- Binghamton (7-5-6) is making its 13th appearance in the America East Tournament. The Bearcats have advanced to the conference title game seven times, including last season. They have won the America East title twice (2003 and 2006).

Alejandro Cubillo has posted six shutouts this year. Binghamton's RPI is currently No. 58 out of 206 Division I men's soccer programs. It was ranked No. 10 in the NSCAA East Region Poll as recently as two weeks ago.
- Defending America East champion Vermont (12-5-1) is led by Brian Wright, who leads the America East with 30 total points (10 goals and 10 assists). The Catamount's RPI is No. 38 and they are currently seventh in the NSCAA East Region Poll.
- Binghamton and Vermont meet for the fourth time in the America East Tournament, including the second straight postseason with the Catamounts as the host team. Last year, Vermont win 1-0 in the title game. In 2006, the Bearcats won 1-0 in overtime in the finals but the Catamounts turned the tables the following year with a 1-0 championship game triumph.
