STORY LINES

- Binghamton (8-8, 3-0 AE) is off to its best start in America East play since 2007-08. On Wednesday, the Bearcats won 64-55 at Vermont behind a game-high and season-best 27 points by junior guard Imani Watkins. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina added 16 points while junior center Alyssa James finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.

- Junior guard Imani Watkins is tied for first in the America East and ranks No. 29 in the nation with 19.3 points per game. She is also first in the conference and is No. 48 in the nation with 2.7 steals per game. Redshirt sophomore guard Jasmine Sina and Watkins rank first and second in the America East with 2.9 and 2.7 three-point field goals per game respectively. Sina is also No. 32 in the nation in that statistical category. Junior center Alyssa James, meanwhile, is fourth in the America East with 6.8 rebounds, tied for second with 1.5 blocks per game and tied for fourth with 1.9 steals per contest.

- New Hampshire (12-3, 2-0 AE) defeated visiting Albany 71-58 on Wednesday night to extend its winning streak to a season-high six games. Brittni Lai netted a team-best 20 points while Carlee Pogue, who ranks sixth in the America East with 13.6 points per game, finished with 19 points against the Great Danes. As a team, the Wildcats lead the conference in scoring defense (54.9 ppg.) and rebounding (39.0 rpg.). New Hampshire's scoring defense also ranks No. 19 in the nation.

- Binghamton leads the all time series 20-12. Last season, Rebecca Carmody's tip in at the buzzer gave the Bearcats a 51-50 win on Jan. 9 at the Events Center. The Wildcats, however, returned the favor with a 64-49 win at home on Feb. 6. 

- The Bearcats lead the America East and are No. 34 in the nation with 8.1 three-point field goals per game. The Bearcats also rank first in the conference and No. 38 in the nation in blocks (5.1 bpg.). They are also third in the conference in both scoring (64.1 ppg.) and steals (9.4 spg.). 

- Junior guard Imani Watkins ranks ninth in program history with 1,211 points. Karen McClelland is eighth with 1,227 points while Alicia Brennan (1986-90) is seventh with 1,229 points. Watkins, who reached the 1,000-point mark against Sacred Heart on Nov. 23, has eight games this season with at least 20 points including a program-record six straight from Nov. 16-Dec. 6.
