VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton swimming & diving programs travel to Niagara University on Saturday. The men's team will face off against Niagara while the women will compete against Niagara and Siena.
The Men's Swimming and Diving team (1-0) Â is coming off of an impressive win vs New Jersey Institute of Technology a couple weeks ago where they won 164-98. The men recorded seven individual first place finishes and two relay victories in their first meet of the season. Junior free swimmer Alex Brion won the 500 Free and 100 Free while Sophomore
Ross Bernstein recorded top finishes in the 200 Butterfly and 200 IM.
Last year Binghamton beat Niagara 164.5-129.5.
The women's team (0-1) is coming off a tough loss to the University of Vermont,97-165, two weeks ago. Binghamton's top finishers in the meet included junior Brooke Pettis  who had two first place finishes,
Kristen Pozmanter,
Olivia Santos, and
Maria Trivino each recorded a victory in the 1000 Free, 100 Free, and 200 IM respectively.
Last year the Bearcats beat Niagara 158.5 -131.5
Both teams will travel to Colgate on October 28 for a dual meet.
