VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton swimming & diving program hosted Canisius on senior day at the Patricia A. Saunders Aquatics Center on Saturday. The women's team (4-1) topped Canisius 168-132, while the men (3-1) dropped the meet 168-132.

Before the meet, the Bearcats honored their ten graduating seniors.

Women
The women posted six individual victories and two relay first place finishes in the meet. The 200 medley relay team of Erica Bachiller, Sydney Atendido, Brooke Pettis and Courtney Foley finished first with a time of 1:48.78. The 200 free relay team of Atendido, Kaitlyn Lange, Olivia Santos and Foley also won with a time of 1:40.58.

Maria Trivino and Brooke Pettis lead the Bearcats with two first place finishes on the day. Trivino won the 200 IM (2:12.06) and the 200 breaststroke (2:27.62). Pettis grabbed first place in the 200 butterfly (2:09.93) and the 100 butterfly (58.74).

Other top finishers for Binghamton included Kristen Pozmanter in the 1000 free (10:39.44) and Erica Bachiller in the 100 back (59.64).

Men
The men recorded four individual first place finishes  and two runner up relay finishes on the day.

Alex Brion continued his undefeated streak in the freestyle sprints, winning the 50 free (21.39) and the 100 free (48.17). Ross Bernstein won the 200 IM (2:00.19) and Cooper Langanis took first place in the 200 free (1:47.15)

Both teams take a break from action but return to the pool on January 11 for a home meet against Marist.
